Hack-Xplode is a 30-day hackathon event organized by the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science at Chennai Institute of Technology. The primary objective of Hack-Xplode is to foster the development of projects and solutions that address critical issues, both locally and globally. We are thrilled to announce this upcoming hackathon, which will be conducted in a Hybrid mode to accommodate developers who are enthusiastic about innovation and creativity. Our event will feature multiple themes, providing participants with the opportunity to submit their ideas in the specified PowerPoint (PPT) format and subsequently showcase their creativity in an offline setting on our campus.

Structure of hackathon

Hackathon will have two rounds.

#Round 1
The participants are required to come up with an idea and they have to submit the ppt in the devfolio platform.

#Round 2
The selected students would be given the invitation to join Round 2 taking place offline at CIT Chennai.

Rules and regulations

1. Each team can have 1 to 3 members.
2. Team members can be from different colleges and any year and dept.
3. Participants are required to bring their own equipment. There will be no onsite provisions.
4. Teams must develop a working model within 30 days and present it on the final day of the hackathon
5. The jury's decisions are final.
